I was first requested to play "Someone Like You" by a couple for their first dance. I drum in a wedding band and they asked us to learn it for their wedding. Eversince that wedding, this song has become a firm favourite with brides asking for it to be played for their ceremony...

The lyrics of this song are absolutely beautiful and express how most couples feel about each other.

Someone Like You also features in the romantic comedy of the same name and the music is played right at the end of the film as Eddie and Jane passionately kiss.

Hans Zimmer is one of my favourite film music composers and films that he has worked on include Gladiator, Pirates of the Caribbean, Pearl Harbour, Black Hawk Down and...The Holiday.

The Holiday is a romantic comedy about two strangers, one from the UK and one from the USA who agree to swap homes temporarily.

We have finally set things right and made a piano recording of a Take That song!

Our wedding pianists are often asked to play Take That songs at weddings and I was shocked when I discovered that I had not recommended any of their songs for use in civil wedding ceremonies. (Thank you to a certain bride for pointing this out to me!!!!)
